Phuket Launches “Parkland & Music Fest 2025”

Phuket — The coastal province of Phuket has kicked off one of its most ambitious cultural events to date: the “Phuket Parkland & Music Fest 2025.” Held at the iconic Phuket Gateway, the three-day festival blends music, art, and lifestyle into a dynamic celebration aimed at reinforcing Phuket’s image as a world-class tourism destination.

Organized by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization (PPAO) in collaboration with the Mai Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organization and a coalition of public and private partners, the festival opened with a flourish of local pride. Traditional performances showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region, setting the tone for a weekend of immersive experiences.

Presiding over the opening ceremony was Mr. Rewat Areerob, President of the PPAO, joined by key figures including Ms. Siriwan Singharach, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Phuket Office), Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkan, President of Phuket Rajabhat University, and Mr. Worawit Srisakukam, Chief of Mai Khao Subdistrict. The event drew enthusiastic participation from government agencies, local entrepreneurs, and media outlets.

In his remarks, Mr. Rewat stated that the festival is more than a concert—it’s a lifestyle showcase that reflects the multifaceted identity of Phuket. “We’re creating a space where music, art, and everyday life converge,” he said. “This is a platform for local creativity, youth expression, and cultural exchange that will energize our tourism economy and spotlight Phuket’s unique charm.”

Running from August 29 to 31, the festival features performances by top Thai artists including Singto Numchok, Maiyarap, Wasan 17, MEAN, and Tienkhai & Vanich. Alongside the main stage, visitors can explore themed zones offering a taste of Phuket’s culinary heritage, youth art exhibitions, family-friendly activities, and a spectacular cover dance competition. The festivities culminate each night with dazzling firework displays.

Food lovers are treated to a curated selection of Phuket’s signature dishes and popular street food, while the cultural zone invites guests to engage with traditional crafts and community storytelling. The event also serves as a launchpad for young creatives, with dedicated spaces for showcasing student artwork and innovative projects.

With free admission throughout the festival, organizers hope to attract both domestic and international visitors to experience Phuket’s evolving cultural landscape. The “Phuket Parkland & Music Fest 2025” is not just a celebration—it’s a statement of intent, positioning the province as a hub for creative tourism and sustainable economic growth.

For three days and nights, Phuket pulses with rhythm, flavor, and imagination—offering a glimpse into the soul of a destination that continues to reinvent itself.
