Man Arrested with Over 1,200 Meth Pills and Crystal Meth in Thalang

Police in Thalang this week have arrested a 35-year-old man from Songkhla, seizing a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics during a targeted operation under the “No Drugs, No Dealers” campaign.

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that the suspect, identified as Mr. Haek Mittrawong, was apprehended at a petrol station in Pa Khlok. Officers seized 1,250 methamphetamine pills (Yaba) and 6.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice)

Mr. Mittrawong faces serious charges of possessing Category 1 narcotics with intent to distribute—an offense deemed to contribute to widespread drug circulation and pose a threat to public safety and national security. He has been transferred to Thalang Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
