Phuket carried out an intense anti-drug sweep as part of the nationwide campaign “No Drugs No Dealers,” led by the Ministry of Interior to build drug-free communities.
The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that the operation, commanded by Chalong Police, resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of over 1,000 methamphetamine pills and an illegal firearm.

- Suspect 1: Mrs. Tiew, age 64
- Charges: Unauthorized sale of methamphetamine
- Seized Evidence: 503 pills
- Location: Roadside in Moo 2, Rawai Subdistrict
- Suspect 2: Mrs. Tihya, age 74
- Charges: Unauthorized sale of methamphetamine
- Seized Evidence: 163 pills
- Location: Roadside in Moo 2, Rawai Subdistrict
- Suspect 3: Mr. Patipan, age 30
- Charges: Possession of an unlicensed firearm and drug consumption
- Seized Evidence: ZORAKI M 906 pistol with 2 rounds of ammunition
- Location: Condo room B4 in Rawai Subdistrict

Authorities also uncovered an additional stash of 341 methamphetamine pills—339 orange and 2 green—along a roadside in the Thai Mai Village neighborhood of Rawai. This brought the total number of pills confiscated during the operation to 1,007.

All suspects have been handed over to investigators at Chalong Police Station for legal proceedings. Officers expressed their continued commitment to eradicating drug trafficking and restoring peace to local neighborhoods
