Woman Arrested in Patong for Allegedly Selling Illegal Drugs to Tourists

On July 25th, 2025, a joint task force from Patong Police Station successfully apprehended a Thai woman suspected of selling illegal drugs to tourists in the bustling Patong area.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that acting on intelligence and a search warrant issued by Phuket Provincial Court, officers raided a ground-floor apartment in Soi Baan Kanjana 2 on Nanai Road.

They arrested a Thai woman, age 28. Seized from her were 4 ecstasy pills 0.7 grams of powdered ecstasy, and 3.46 grams of ketamine. She is facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 narcotics (ecstasy) and illegal possession of Category 2 narcotics (ketamine)

Authorities allege that the suspect was supplying party drugs to foreign and domestic tourists in one of Phuket’s busiest entertainment districts. The suspect and evidence have been handed over to investigators at Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings.
