Phuket –

A 27-year-old Russian man was left in critical condition after reportedly leaping from the third floor of a company dormitory in the Talat Yai area of Phuket late Sunday night (July 6th).

The Phuket City Police told the Phuket Express that they were alerted to the incident at approximately 9:20 PM. Police responded promptly to the scene on Luang Pho Road, where they discovered the man lying unconscious and unclothed on the pavement outside the dormitory.

Emergency responders from the Kusoldharm Foundation and Vachira Phuket Hospital provided immediate first aid before transporting the injured man, later identified as Mr. Maksim, to the hospital for emergency treatment.

According to witness testimony, Mr. Maksim appeared to be experiencing a mental disturbance. He allegedly climbed to the third floor of the dormitory building, forcibly entered a room by breaking a window, and startled the female resident inside, identified only as Ms. Na. The woman fled in panic, after which Mr. Maksim removed his clothing and jumped from the balcony.

Authorities later searched Mr. Maksim’s residence in the same district but reported finding no illegal substances or items. His passport was recovered, indicating he held a valid visa until August 25, 2025.
