Four teenage males have been arrested in connection with the violent assault of a Thai man outside a noodle shop on Bangkok Road in Phuket Town. The incident recently was captured on video and sparked swift police action.
The Phuket City Police told the Phuket Express that following the attack, they launched an intensive manhunt. Police identified the suspects and secured arrest warrants through the Phuket Provincial Court.
All four individuals were apprehended two days later. Police then executed a search warrant at a residence in Kathu, where they uncovered an alarming cache of illegal weapons. Items seized included two homemade firearms, a modified blank gun, a total of 50 rounds of .38 caliber ammunition, two motorbikes allegedly used during the escape, and clothing believed to have been worn during the assault.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects, along with the seized evidence, have been handed over to investigators for further legal proceedings.
