Two Cambodians Arrested in Patong for Illegal Entry and Overstay

Authorities in Patong have arrested two Cambodian men for unlawfully residing in the Kingdom of Thailand, following a coordinated investigation led by the Patong Police Station.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that the operation was carried out over the past weekend. Officers from the investigation unit apprehended the suspects—aged 41 and 48 years—at a rented residence near the Suwan Khiri Wong on Phisitkorranee RoadTemple.

The pair were charged with illegal entry into the country and overstaying their permitted period of stay, without possessing valid immigration documents as required by law. They were taken into custody and transferred to the Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings.
