Our previous story:

The Phuket International Airport (HKT) has announced on June 13th, 2025, that the airport (HKT) activated its emergency response plan following a reported bomb threat onboard Air India flight AI 379.

The Phuket International Airport Diresctor Mr. Wanchai Tamod told the Phuket Express that at approximately 10:00 AM, the flight’s pilot reported the discovery to Phuket Air Traffic Control, stating that crew members found a handwritten message reading: “F… you all bomb.” The alert triggered an immediate security protocol, with officials coordinating closely with Phuket Airport’s security center.

Upon landing, the aircraft was directed to an isolated parking area to allow specialized Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams to conduct thorough searches of the aircraft and passengers’ belongings. Meanwhile, passengers were moved to a designated holding area at Bus Gate 81-82, where security screenings were conducted.

As of now, no explosives or suspicious materials have been found, though authorities continue their investigations to ensure the safety of all onboard. Phuket International Airport remains operational, with heightened security protocols in place.

Officials assure travelers that all necessary precautions are being taken, and further updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
