Nurse Murdered on Samui Island

Koh Samui/Surat Thani-

Police on Koh Samui have launched an intense manhunt following the brutal murder of a private hospital nurse, whose body was discovered in her residence under disturbing circumstances.

Police were alerted early in the morning on Wednesday (May 21st) after colleagues of the victim, Ms. Anchulee, 36, became concerned when she failed to respond to calls. Upon arrival at the two-story residence, officers found her lifeless body lying on the bed, partially clothed, with a white t-shirt tightly wrapped around her neck.

Initial examinations by forensic specialists revealed signs of strangulation, but no other external injuries. The victim’s Nissan sedan was missing from the scene, leading investigators to suspect it was used by the perpetrator to flee.

The Bophut Police Station has mobilized teams from local and regional investigative units to track down the suspect. Officers have sealed off the island, monitoring ferry terminals to prevent an escape.

Neighbours reported that Ms. Anchulee returned home past midnight after leaving her workplace, but was later heard arguing with an unidentified individual. The altercation soon fell silent, and she was found dead the following morning.

Colleagues described Ms. Anchulee as a kind and respected professional with no known conflicts, making the case even more perplexing.

Authorities are currently examining security footage from areas around the victim’s residence and locations where her vehicle might have been sighted. As of this report, police remain committed to tracking down the suspect and recovering key evidence. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
