Police are investigating the discovery of a deceased foreign body found floating near Nui Beach in Karon. The body, identified as a white male, was spotted on May 21st on Wednesday, at approximately 4:00 PM.
The Karon Police received the report and dispatched investigators to the scene. The deceased was found shirtless, wearing black pants, with notable tattoos on his right arm and right leg. Preliminary examinations by forensic specialists from Vachira Phuket Hospital revealed no visible wounds.
Medical experts estimate that the man had been deceased for approximately three days before being found.
Authorities are now working to identify the victim by checking missing person reports and coordinating with nearby hotels to determine whether the deceased was a guest at any local accommodations.
