์Icelander, Italian, and Nigerians Arrested for Overstaying in Phuket

Phuket Immigration have apprehended four foreign nationals for overstaying their visas, with some remaining in Thailand unlawfully for over two years.

The Phuket immigration told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday (May 21st) they arrested four individuals who are

  • MR. WISDOM, Nigerian national, overstayed by 761 days
  • MR. DAVIDE, Italian national, overstayed by 236 days
  • MR. IZUCHUKWU, Nigerian national, overstayed by 33 days
  • MR. EIREANNACH, Icelandic national, overstayed by 15 days

Each suspect has been charged under Thai immigration law for staying in the country beyond their permitted period. Officials have documented the arrests and informed the detainees of their legal rights before handing them over to investigators for further legal proceedings.

Immigration authorities continue to intensify efforts to crack down on visa violations, reinforcing Thailand’s commitment to upholding immigration regulations and national security.
