Suspect Arrested with 1,792 Meth Pills in Patong

A suspect was arrested with 1,792 methamphetamine pills and 7.51 grams of crystal methamphetamine in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express this week that the suspect, identified only as a 48-year-old Thai male, was apprehended at a residence in Soi Phisit Karanee 3. Authorities discovered and confiscated the following illegal substances:

  • 1,792 tablets of methamphetamine (Yaba).
  • 7.51 grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ya Ice).

The individual is accused of possessing and distributing Type 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) with intent to sell, an act categorized as trafficking, without official authorization. The suspect, along with the confiscated drugs, has been handed over to investigators at Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings.
