Phuket –
A van reportedly had an accelerator malfunction and crashed into multiple other vehicles inside the Phuket International Airport.
The accident this week occurred in front of the international terminal. Mr. Somsak, the driver of the van, stated that he had picked up passengers and was preparing to leave the parking area near Gate 2 of the International Terminal at Phuket Airport.
However, as he was pulling out, the accelerator allegedly got stuck, causing the van to hit the rear of a car. The van then collided with the back of a SUV pushing the SUV into another van.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. All parties involved contacted their insurance providers and managed to reach a preliminary agreement through mediation.
