Woman Stabbed in Heated Argument Over Jealousy in Wichit

A female suspect was arrested after a violent argument stemming from jealousy led to a stabbing incident resulting in injuries.

Th Wichit Police told the Phuket Express that a dispute erupted between two women near a local shop in Suan Luang. According to initial reports, the victim, identified only as Miss Samitra, had gone to purchase items when she engaged in a heated argument with another woman, Miss Tubtim.

The altercation quickly escalated, leading Tubtim to allegedly use a knife to stab Samitra’s left arm before fleeing the scene. Samitra was rushed to Vachira Phuket Hospital for treatment before filing a formal complaint with police at Wichit Police Station.

Authorities launched an investigation and, on May 14th, issued an official summons for Tubtim to present herself for questioning. Meanwhile, investigators have also begun efforts to track down Tubtim.

The suspect was reportedly recently arrested and she has admitted to stab the victim because she was jealous about a prior situation.
