UPDATE: British Suspects Wanted after Allegedly Stabbing French Man Multiple Times at Phuket Bar

Phuket –

Arrest warrants are being issued for three British men who allegedly attacked a French man at a bar in Cherng Talay, Thalang

Our previous story:

A violent altercation erupted outside a bar in Cherng Talay, Thalang, in the early hours of May 11, leaving a French tourist critically injured after being stabbed multiple times.

Now for the update:

The Cherng Talay police told the Phuket Express that they analyzed security camera footage, which provided partial coverage of the incident, along with additional video clips from witnesses at the scene.

Through detailed comparisons of the footage and images, investigators confirmed the suspect as Emilio, a 35-year-old British national. His physical appearance closely matched the person recorded at the scene, and witness accounts further supported his involvement in the case.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that they found that the suspect left Phuket to Bali, Indonesia on the same day of the incident with the two British men who also appeared in the CCTV footage in the incident. Witnesses at the scene told the Thalang Police that the other two suspects allegedly joined in the attack.

The Thalang police have requested arrest warrants from the Phuket Provincial Court for the three British suspects and are reaching out to Interpol for assistance in helping arrest the men and bring them back to Thailand.
