An incident occurred at 5:10 P.M. on Saturday May 10th, when a motorcycle carrying a father, mother, and their child crashed into a utility pole near the entrance of an housing estate on the Sakdidej Road.
Emergency responders told the Phuket Express that they arrived at the scene to find two bodies of a mother and child on the road. The father, who suffered severe injuries, was rushed to Vachira Phuket Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorcycle may have lost control due to excessive speed or navigating a sharp curve. However, authorities are also exploring the possibility that another vehicle may have been involved in the accident, leading to the loss of control.
Local law enforcement is actively reviewing available evidence and eyewitness accounts to determine the exact cause of the crash.
