Two Foreign Nationals Arrested in Patong for Multiple Offenses

Patong –

Police apprehended two foreign nationals near a shopping mall on the Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. Both men face multiple charges, including possession of illegal substances and carrying weapons in public without justification.

The first suspect, whose identity and nationality remain unknown, was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Witnesses reported that he appeared heavily intoxicated and was causing a disturbance. Additionally, he was found carrying a knife in a public area without a valid reason.

The second suspect, a man from the United Arab Emirates, was taken into custody after officers discovered illegal substances in his possession. He was found with crystal methamphetamine, a Category 1 narcotic, as well as Clonazepam, a Category 4 psychotropic substance, which he allegedly did not have authorization to possess. The suspect was also carrying a knife without justification, further adding to the charges against him.

The Patong Police did not mention more details about the arrested men.
