Israeli Woman Arrested in Patong for Theft

Phuket –

An Israeli woman was arrested for theft of a mobile phone at a hotel in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week, they were notified from a hotel staffer that a mobile phone was stolen from the reception area. CCTV footage shows that a female foreigner took the mobile phone. Police tracked her down before they arrested the suspect, a 44-year-old Israeli woman in a room at a hotel.

Police recovered the stolen item—an iPhone 12 Pro Max. She was taken to the Patong Police Station. The suspect now faces charges of theft, and legal proceedings are underway.
