On April 30, 2025, between 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM, authorities in Thalang carried out a proactive drug prevention operation aimed at safeguarding the community.

A special task force set up checkpoints in Mai Khao. The primary objective was to conduct random urine tests and inspect individuals and vehicles for illegal substances. During the operation, 80 individuals underwent drug screening, with nine testing positive for illicit substances.

Authorities documented their cases according to standard procedures and enrolled them in a voluntary rehabilitation program at Thalang Hospital, ensuring appropriate treatment and recovery support.

Additionally, security teams conducted random searches of individuals and vehicles in the designated areas. No illegal items were discovered, indicating a controlled and law-abiding environment.
