Foreign Tourist Breaks Leg after Parasailing Accident at Patong

A foreign tourist broke his leg in a parasailing accident at Patong Beach after unexpectedly falling from the airborne parachute and colliding with a jet ski below.

Emergency responders told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (April 29th) they rushed to the scene near the Bangla Police Booth following an alert in the afternoon. Upon arrival, they found the injured male foreigner conscious but suffering from a severe leg deformity due to the impact.

Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid before swiftly transporting the injured man to Patong Hospital for urgent medical treatment. The Phuket Express noted personal details about the injured man were not released by relevant authorities, such as his name, age, and nationality.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident, including weather conditions and equipment safety standards, to determine any potential negligence.
