Tourist Urinates on Moving Tuk-Tuk in Patong

Phuket–

A viral video showing a foreign tourist urinating while seated on a moving tuk-tuk has sparked outrage among netizens, with many condemning the act as disrespectful and unhygienic.

The video, originally posted on Facebook by the Thai user “Wissawa Jed Dok Jick,” on Thursday (April 24th) captures the shocking moment when the tourist, seemingly unfazed by his surroundings, relieved himself on the vehicle as it traveled through Phuket’s busy streets. Vehicles following behind, as well as pedestrians, were visibly exposed to the inappropriate behavior.

The uploader expressed strong disapproval, stating, “This is unacceptable behavior. I don’t like people like this—just urinating on someone else’s vehicle.”

Following the video’s circulation on social media, netizens were quick to react, with comments ranging from frustration to outright disgust. Some called for stricter regulations to curb such incidents, while others criticized the individual for displaying a blatant disregard for public decency.

The incident has reignited discussions about the behavior of some tourists in Thailand and the importance of respecting local customs and public spaces. Many are urging authorities to take action to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
