Major Drug Dealer Arrested in Thalang

Phuket authorities have successfully apprehended a transgender major drug dealer accused of distributing methamphetamine (“Ice”) and ketamine (“K”) to local youth.

The Provincial Administrative Officer told the Phuket Express that following extensive surveillance and intelligence gathering, officers arrested a male suspect in Thalang. Authorities confiscated a significant amount of illegal substances, including methamphetamine (“Ice”) – 44.19 grams and Ketamine (“K”) – 9.33 grams

Authorities have transferred the suspect and all evidence to Phuket City Police Station for further legal proceedings. The suspect faces charges of possession and distribution of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) and Category 2 narcotics (ketamine) in violation of Thai drug laws and consumption of Category 2 narcotics (methamphetamine) without legal authorization.
