French Man Arrested at Phuket Airport on Assault Charges

Immigration officers at the Phuket International Airport apprehended a French national wanted on an outstanding warrant for assault charges. The arrest took place on Thursday (April 24th) in the international arrivals hall.

Immigration at Phuket Airport told the Phuket Express that at approximately 7:40 A.M. they arrested the suspect, a 31-year-old French male. He was wanted for allegedly committing assault that did not result in severe bodily or psychological harm in Patong. Authorities swiftly identified and detained the individual upon his arrival at the airport.

Following the arrest, the suspect was handed over to investigators at Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to enforcing the law and ensuring public safety. The French man did not release any statement as of press time and his full name was withheld.
