Phuket –
Immigration officers at the Phuket International Airport arrested a 45-year-old British woman for overstaying her visa by 207 days. The arrest was made around 11:30 A.M. as part of an operation led by Phuket Airport Immigration. She was detained at the International Terminal.
The suspect has been charged with violating Thai immigration laws, specifically for remaining in the country beyond the permitted period. Following her arrest, she was handed over to the Sakoo Police for further legal action. The British woman did not release any statement as of press time.
