Kathu –
A 30 year-old female driver died after a car crash in Kathu on Monday (April 7th).
Emergency responders were notified of the accident in the early morning at 2:20 A.M. on the Phra Phuket Kaew Road. They arrived at the scene to found the damaged sedan and pickup truck. The female driver, identified only as Ms. Panisa, 30, was found unconscious inside the sedan. She was later pronounced dead.
The pickup truck driver, identified only as Mr. Arnon and his female passenger sustained various injuries. They were taken to a local hospital.
Witnesses said the sedan driver lost control at a curve before crashing into the pickup truck in the opposite lane. The Kathu Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident.
