French Fugitive Wanted for Jailbreak and Murder Apprehended in Phuket

Phuket –

Authorities in Phuket successfully apprehended a French national linked to a serious international crime.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express on Wednesday (March 26th) that the arrest stemmed from work between the Immigration Bureau and the French Embassy, which flagged a high-profile fugitive wanted on charges of helping prisoner escape and the murder of correctional officers in France.

The suspect, identified only as Mr. Adonis, 24, a French national, had been on the run after orchestrating a daring breakout involving a prison inmate, which resulted in the death of security personnel. He sought refuge in Phuket, evading international warrants for his capture.

Officers tracked and located the fugitive, who ultimately confessed to his crimes.

He remains in custody as of press time.
