Blacklisted German Arrested in Phang Nga

Phang Nga-

Phang Nga Immigration successfully apprehended a 64-year-old German national, Mr. Rainer, who was found hiding in a residence in Tai Muang District. The arrest took place on Tuesday (March 25th).

The Phang Nga Immigration told the Phuket Express that they were notified by a tip from a vigilant local resident. The information led authorities to the suspect, who had been behaving suspiciously and remained secluded in the house for months.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Heise was listed on the Immigration Bureau’s blacklist. He had unlawfully entered Thailand via Satun, southern Thailand, evading checkpoints by crossing through natural channels. Since arriving in July 2024, he had taken refuge in Tai Muang, relying on food deliveries from an associate and rarely leaving his residence.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Tai Muang Police Station, where legal proceedings are underway for violating immigration laws.
