Kamala –
A tour bus which was carrying 38 Russians was overturned in Kamala on Saturday (March 22nd).
Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 5:00 P.M. in the afternoon on the Patong – Kamala Road. They arrived at the scene to find the overturned bus which had almost hit a house on the roadside. In total, 38 Russian passengers were found inside the bus. They all had sustained minor injuries.
Witnesses said the bus driver seemed to fail to brake, later attributing the accident to brake failure, while it was coming down the hill. The Kamala Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
