A wanted French suspect was arrested at the Phuket International Airport after he allegedly assaulted another person.
The Phuket Airport Immigration told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday (March 19th) at about 1:00 P.M. they apprehended a 27-year-old male French national at the Phuket International Airport. The arrest was carried out in collaboration with Karon Police Station.
The arrest was based on a Phuket Provincial Court arrest warrant. He is accused of committing an offense described as causing harm to another person, resulting in physical or mental injury.
The arrest took place in the international arrivals’ terminal in the Phuket International Airport. The suspect was handed over to the Karon Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings. However, he did not release any statement as of the press time.
