Three British Nationals Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Motorbike Rider in Patong

Three British men were arrested in Patong after allegedly threatening a motorbike rider with a knife following a traffic accident.

According to the Patong Police, the incident occurred over the weekend and was reported to the Phuket Express. The accident involved a car and a motorcycle. The motorbike rider sustained injuries, and the driver of the vehicle, a pickup truck, along with two other foreign nationals, reportedly threatened the injured rider with a knife in front of Patong Hospital.

Authorities later apprehended the suspects. The pickup truck driver, a 26-year-old British national, and two other British men who were present at the scene were taken to Patong Police Station. The driver admitted to threatening the motorbike rider with a knife after the collision.

The driver is facing multiple charges, including reckless driving causing physical or mental harm to others, property damage, and carrying a weapon in public without a valid reason.
