Iranian Man Arrested For Stealing Tea and Coffee from Patong Supermarket

Patong –

An Iranian man was arrested after he stole tea and coffee from a supermarket in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified from a security guard of a super market on the Phra Baramee Road of the incident. They arrived at the scene to find a male foreigner who was later identified only as a 52-year-old male Iranian. He was caught by the security guard.

Seized from him were a bag of tea and a bottle of dried coffee in a plastic bag. He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of theft. The Phuket Express noted the the Iranian suspect did not release any statement as of press time.
