Now for the update

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that the Patong Police checked CCTV footage at the hotel. They tracked down the suspects before arresting the three of them. They were identified by police only as MR. AKSU, 30, MR. AKSU, 22, both of them are German nationals, and MR. YANYANA, 23, a Turkish national.

They admitted to the police that they attacked the Russian man. They claimed however that they met a female Finnish woman at an entertainment venue and went to her room just to drop her off and make sure she arrived home safely, according to them. However, her Russian boyfriend was in the room and they started an argument before brawling. It was unclear why the woman had allegedly been alone at a nightlife venue.

Meanwhile the Finnish woman and the Russian man did not release any statements in response as of press time.
