Patong –
A Russian couple was arrested for theft at a shopping mall in Patong.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Sunday (March 9th) at 1:12 P.M. they were notified from a clothing shop staffer at a shopping mall on the Ratcha Uthit Road in Patong of the incident. They arrived at the shop to find a male and female Russian who were caught stealing by the shop staffer. Seized from them was a cap but the amount of the merchandise wasn’t clear.
The CCTV footage at the shop shows that the couple was stealing from the shop. The Russian couple was taken to the Patong City Police Station to face charges of theft. The Phuket Express noted that the Patong Police did not release any further details about the couple.
