70-Year Old Thai Man Dies after Car Crash in Thalang – VIDEO

A 70-year-old driver has been pronounced dead after he crashed his car into many vehicles in Sakoo on Saturday morning (March 8th).

Emergency responders told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident at 5:45 A.M. on the No. 4026 Road (Naiyang – Airport Road) in Baan Nai Yang. They arrived at the scene which was in front of an ice shop.

The driver inside the damaged black SUV, who was identified only as Mr. Thavorn,70, from Phang Nga, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nearby, rescue workers found two damaged motorbikes, two damaged white and red SUVs, and a damaged minivan. At this stage police believed that Mr. Thavorn might have fallen asleep at the wheel before he lost control of his vehicle before the crash.

The incident was recorded on CCTV as seen below from footage in front of the ice shop posted by ‘Duangporn Jumpathong’.
