Rassada –
A fire engulfed a house at a housing estate in Raasada on Tuesday night (March 4th) alarming local residents.
Fire fighters from the Phuket City Municipality were notified of the fire at 9:12 P.M. at a housing estate near the Bypass Road in Rassada. They arrived at the scene with multiple fire engines. The house was found heavily ablaze up to the second floor. It took about half an hour to control the fire.
No injuries were reported. Inside, however, the house was totally damaged. It has been reported that the fire started from a washing machine. However, the exact cause of fire and cost of damages is still being investigated as of press time.
