Man Injured from Neck Slash Wound after Road Rage Incident in Wichit

A man sustained injuries from a slash wound on his neck after a road rage incident in Wichit.

The Wichit Police informed the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident at 10:00 P.M. on Monday (March 3rd) at a house in a housing estate in Wichit. Witnesses told police that at 8:00 P.M., Mr. Kit, 26, was riding a motorbike on a road in the housing estate when Mr. Phon, 37, who was also riding a motorbike, suddenly appeared in front of him. Although there was no accident, they started an argument and left the scene.

At 9:40 P.M., Mr. Phon, still on his motorbike, encountered Mr. Kit again. He kicked Mr. Kit’s motorbike, causing Mr. Kit to fall off. Mr. Kit then followed Mr. Phon to his home, where a brawl ensued. During the altercation, Mr. Phon used a long knife to slash Mr. Kit’s neck. Mr. Kit was taken to a nearby hospital. The Wichit Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
