Man Arrested after Stealing Car in Patong

A man was arrested in Chum Phon with a stolen car from Patong.

The Patong Police informed the Phuket Express that on Sunday (March 2nd) at 8:25 P.M., the car owner filed a report to the police. The car, which was parked in front of a beach club on Taweewong Road, had disappeared. Traffic Police in Phuket and nearby provinces were informed.

On Monday (March 3rd) at 1:10 A.M., the Chum Phon City Police arrested the 32-year-old Thai man who was driving the stolen car on Phet Kasem Road near a checkpoint in Khao Chaiyarat, Pa Tiw. He was taken back to the Patong Police Station to face charges of theft. The Phuket Express noted that it was unclear how the suspect had stolen the car.
