Major Nigerian Cocaine Dealer Arrested on Pha Ngan Island

An alleged major Nigerian drug dealer was arrested on the Pha Ngan Island in Surat Thani with 25 grams of cocaine seized.

The Koh Pha Ngan Tourist police told the Phuket Express that over the past weekend they arrested the 37 year-old male Nigerian drug suspect in front of the Pan Thip Market. Seized from him were 25.71 grams of cocaine worth about 240,000 Baht.

He was taken to the Koh Pha Ngan Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of cocaine with intent to sell. The arrest followed after police conducted a sting operation to buy drugs from him. Police found that the suspect also delivered drugs via his person to Krabi and Phuket.
