British Tourist Arrested at Phuket Airport with Cocaine

A British man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport with cocaine.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday (February 18th) they arrested the 42 year-old male British national. He was arrested at the international arrival terminal in the airport. Seized from him were 4.11 grams of cocaine.

He was taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 2 drugs and importing illegal drugs into the kingdom. The Phuket Express noted that Phuket Immigration did not release more details about the suspect. The British man did not release any statement as of press time.
