Driver Dies after Car Crash in Wichit

Phuket –

A driver died after a car crash in Wichit on Monday in the early morning (February 17th).

The Wichit Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident at 2:30 A.M. on the Mueang Chao Fah Road near a patrol station. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the driver stuck inside the car.

Rescue workers used a hydraulic cutter to free him out. He was sadly later pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was identified by police as Mr. Patipat Phonhiran, 31, from Nakhon Si Thammarat. Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident.
