Wanted Filipino Arrested for Fraud at Phuket Immigration Office

Phuket– On Friday, February 14th, Phuket Immigration officials arrested a suspect identified only as Mrs. Branda, a 45-year-old Filipino national, while she was extending her visa.

Mrs. Branda is a wanted suspect under an arrest warrant issued in 2020 by the Criminal Court in Bangkok.

She is accused of fraud involving the importation of false information into a computer system.

Phuket Immigration informed the Phuket Express that Mrs. Branda was taken into custody at the immigration office and subsequently transferred to Chokchai Police Station in Bangkok for further legal proceedings.
