Taxi Motorbike Riders Injured after Knife Fight in Phuket Town

Phuket – On Thursday, February 13th, at 9:00 PM, Phuket City Police were notified of a knife fight between taxi motorbike riders in front of Vachira Phuket Hospital on Yaowarad Road. Both riders sustained injuries in the altercation.

Upon arrival at the hospital’s emergency room, police found Mr. Jit, 56, with severe injuries from approximately five stab and slash wounds. Mr. Nikhom sustained head injuries.

A witness reported that both men are taxi motorbike riders from the same stall in front of the hospital and had a previous conflict over customers. The argument escalated, and Mr. Nikhom used a knife to attack Mr. Jit. Following the incident, Mr. Nikhom was taken to the Phuket City Police Station for further legal action.
