Driver Survives after Car Fire in Wichit

Phuket –

A driver has survived after a fire destroyed a car in Wichit on Wednesday (February 12th).

Firefighters from the Wichit Municipality told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the fire on the Mueang Chao Fa Road (No.4010) on the day in question. They arrived at the scene with a single fire engine to find the fire was heavily ablaze.

It took about 15 minutes to control the fire. An unidentified male driver managed to escape from the fire and he was not injured. However, the car was totally destroyed by the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated as of press time.
