An unidentified male driver has sustained serious injuries after a sedan crash in Phuket Town on Wednesday in the early morning (February 12th).
Emergency responders told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident at 3:00 A.M. at the Nimit Circle (Locally known as fountain circle). They arrived at the scene to find the damaged sedan at the circle near an entertainment venue area.
The male driver inside had sustained serious injuries and was stuck inside the sedan. A broken guitar was also found near the sedan. Rescue workers used a hydraulic cutter to free the victim and he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The Phuket City police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident. An alcohol blood test of the driver is also being conducted as of press time.
