Phuket –

A Sri Lanka man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport with a fake passport and fake stamp.

The Phuket Immigration at the airport told the Phuket Express that on Saturday (February 8th) they arrested a 21 year-old male Sri Lankan national at the international departure terminal. He presented the fake Sri Lanka passport and a fake stamp from Italy to an officer.

He was taken to the Sakoo Police Station. He was not, however, identified by name by Immigration officials nor did he release a statement to the press.
