Russians, Belarusian and Kazakhstani Nationals Arrested at Illegally Operating Nursery in Cherng Talay, Phuket

Two Russians, a Belarusian, and a Kazakhstani national were arrested at an illegal nursery in Cherng Talay.

The Phuket Provincial Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they raided ‘THAILIVING KIDS’ nursery on the Pasak Road with a search warrant from the Phuket Court following an ongoing investigation. About 30 foreign kids were found at the nursery. Four suspects were arrested and taken to the Cherng Talay Police Station.

Mr. DMITRII, 43, Russian national is facing charges of being a foreigner that operated a nursery without legal permission and employed foreigners who do not have legal work permits.

Miss. Svetlana, 43, Russian national, MR. KOIPISH, 40, Belarusian national and MR. SERGEY, 34, Kazakhstani national are facing charges of working without legal permission and a legal work permit.

Just over a week ago another unlicensed childcare center being run by what Thai authorities call illegally working foreigners was raided in Koh Phangan, as we reported here.
