Two Women Arrested with 25,000 Methamphetamine Pills in Thalang

Two women were arrested with in total 25,000 methamphetamine pills seized in Sri Soonthorn.

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express, that on Wednesday (February 5th) they arrested Ms. Na, 33, from Phuket. Seized from her were 602 methamphetamine pills and 2.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine. She was arrested at a room in a housing estate.

Police continued their investigation from the first suspect. She told police that she bought the drugs from Ms. Ta. Police arrested Ms. Ta, 39, from Bangkok at another room in the same housing estate where the first suspect was arrested. Seized from her were 25,862 of methamphetamine pills and 119.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

They were taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
