Foreign Tourist Allegedly Steals iPhone from Shop in Chalong

A foreigner allegedly stole an iPhone from a phone shop in Chalong.

A video clip from a CCTV camera at a mobile phone shop has been shared in social media on Thursday (February 6th). An unidentified mobile shop owner told the Phuket Express that a video clip of the incident on Wednesday (February 5th) shows that a male foreigner came to the shop. He took a look at the mobile phones, posing as a regular customer.

When a staffer turned their back, the suspect bent over and picked out the iPhone 15 Promax 1TB before speeding away. The shop owner has filed a report to the Chalong Police with a hope that police will find him.
