Moroccan Woman Arrested in Patong for 27 Days of Overstaying

A Moroccan woman was arrested on Patong for 27 days of overstaying her legal visa conditions.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that at 1:30 P.M. on Friday (January 31st) they arrested the 25-year-old female Moroccan at an accommodation on the Sai Nam Yen Road in Patong.

She is now at 27 days of overstaying her visa according to police. She was taken to the Patong Police Station to face overstaying charges and is waiting to be deported. The Phuket Express noted that police did not release any other details about the Moroccan woman. She did not release any statement as of press time.
