Man Arrested After Firing Gunshots Over Noise Dispute in Rassada

Rassada – A man was taken into custody after firing gunshots during a noise dispute with his neighbor at a housing estate in Rassada, Phuket City.

The Phuket City Police released a report on Saturday, February 2nd, stating that they were notified of the incident at 8:20 PM on Wednesday, January 29th, at a house in Baan Koo Ku.

The suspect, identified only as Mr. A (alias), 36, told police that the nearby neighbor in his house was making loud noises, disturbing his young child who could not sleep. A verbal argument ensued, during which the suspect fired three gunshots into the air from the second-floor balcony.

Police found three bullet cartridges at the suspect’s house and seized a registered handgun with 25 bullets. The suspect was taken into custody but was later released, although it wasn’t clear immediately why.
